Reeths-Puffer boys bowling has three top-10 finishers, takes 2nd at Orchard View meet

Reeths-Puffer's boys team continued its strong start to the season Friday, Jan. 2 with a second-place finish at the Orchard View Invitational.
The Rockets qualified first in the preliminary rounds, then defeated the host Cardinals in the semifinals before falling to Mona Shores in the championship match.
Liam Copenhaver won the meet's individual title for R-P, posting a 410 two-game score, including a 223 in his second game - the best score by any bowler on the day. Ryleigh Beebe finished fifth overall with a 350 series, and Tanner Bahr was seventh with a 336.
R-P's girls team finished fourth at the same meet, reaching the tournament rounds before dropping a semifinal match to Mona Shores.
Kaila Uhlig led the team by placing fourth individually, buoyed by a high score of 172.
