Montague rallied from an early deficit to defeat Grant Thursday in the Tigers' Assembly Dual, 46-35.
Grant
ripped off the first 35 points of the dual with wins in the first six
bouts, five of them by pin. Due to the Tigers' not having wrestlers at
many of the upper weights, Montague was able to win the remaining eight
bouts, six of them by forfeit.
Gavyn Maddox scored a victory
by pin for the Wildcats, and Isaac French won a major decision. Fletcher
Thommen, Kaiden Jeffery, Kaden French, Michael Jones and Maverick
Osborne picked up wins by forfeit.
