Montague just barely missed out on a dramatic comeback win Tuesday night against Grant, falling by a point, 35-34.
The Wildcats (1-8) outscored Grant 11-6 in the final quarter but needed two more points for the win.
Gentry Knop scored 14 points for the Wildcats, and Annelyse Schneider added eight.
