Montague's bad luck in close games continued Thursday night as the Wildcats lost a West Michigan Conference Lakes clash to Orchard View, 62-56.
"This is our seventh game of the season that has been contested in a close
manner, and we have had our chances to have a desired result," Montague coach Nick Thaler said. "We are
close to putting it all together."
The Wildcats (0-12, 0-6 WMC Lakes) trailed 34-26 at halftime but were able to keep it close the rest of the way; unfortunately, they couldn't get over the hump to get a lead.
Cole Herremans led Montague with 16 points.
