Whitehall senior Corde Anderson was named an all-state first team performer in Division 5-6 this week by both the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association and state sportswriters.
Anderson starred on the defensive line (the position at which he earned his all-state accolades) and at wide receiver for the Vikings, who went 7-4 and reached the district championship game this fall.
Anderson, who also plays basketball and runs track for Whitehall, announced his commitment to play for defending Division II national champion Ferris State Sept. 1.
