Reeths-Puffer's boys team reached the semifinals in bracket play at Saturday's Mona Shores Invitational after finishing fourth in the qualifying round.
The Rockets finished only 61 pins behind first-place Greenville in the qualifying round, defeated Fruitport in the quarterfinals and dropped a semifinal matchup to Greenville.
Liam Copenhaver led the Rockets with a sixth-place individual finish with a three-game score of 605. Ryleigh Beebe wasn't far behind, placing ninth with a 593.
The girls team finished in ninth, with Joslyn Wynsma leading the way. Wynsma rolled a three-game series of 392, highlighted by a 159, the team's top single game score.
