The Muskegon County Airport announced Dec. 12 that its partner Denver Air Connection is increasing the number of weekly flights to and from Chicago's O'Hare Airport from 24 to 38, beginning Jan. 2.
Three flights will travel from the Muskegon airport to O'Hare five days a week (all but Tuesday and Sunday). On those days, flights will take off from Muskegon at 9:35 a.m., 4:35 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. Tuesdays will see flights leave Muskegon for O'Hare at 9:35 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. and Sundays will include takeoffs from Muskegon at 9:35 a.m. and 4:35 p.m.
"The first and last flights of the day are now just $49 each way, down from $69," the airport announced in a Facebook post revealing the news.
