Hart defeated Big Rapids Monday night in a close pre-district
match, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22, earning a date in the semifinals against
Ludington.
"The girls
had great energy and gave a fierce defensive effort to lead the way to
victory tonight," Hart coach Shawn Bectel said.
The
Pirates overcame 13 service errors to get the win. Alayna Schiller led
the Hart defense with 21 digs, and Braelynn Talmadge had three blocks.
Reese Smith paced the offense with 11 kills, and Grace Tucker posted 15 assists, with Cali Eisenlohr chipped in 10.
