Reeths-Puffer enjoyed a break from its otherwise grueling O-K Green
Conference schedule Thursday night, sweeping Muskegon 25-15, 25-12,
25-10.
R-P improved to 2-5 in the O-K Green and 16-15 overall.
Kate
Tindall ran the offense well with 23 assists. Makayla Disselkoen led
the Rocket attack with eight kills and Abby Machinski added seven.
Tindall also served four aces.
"The past few weeks have been tough," Rockets' coach Justin Birr said. "We haven't had any
non-conference matches, so it has been hard to play against the top-tier
of the O-K Green. Our girls needed this night to regroup and refocus for the GMAA on Saturday, and they did just that.
"I am
especially proud of Makayla Disselkoen and Abby Machinski for their
offensive performance tonight. They both had great timing, great
technique, and they were not afraid to swing hard."
