Whitehall dropped a tough battle against defending Division 4 state champion Western Michigan Christian Monday, 1-0.
The host Warriors rang up 14 shots on goal to the Vikings' three, but Whitehall keeper Alex Winczewski made things very difficult for WMC throughout the game and did not allow a goal until the final 10 minutes of play.
"Quality effort across the board and a lot to be proud of," Whitehall coach Dillon McCarthy wrote in a Facebook post.
