Reeths-Puffer golf places 16th at Next Tee event in Battle Creek

Reeths-Puffer finished 16th in a 19-team field Saturday at the Next Tee tournament at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek.
The Rockets did not have their best day, with only two players scoring under 100. Sophia McCollum led the team in scoring with an 84, which included a birdie, and finished in 10th place overall. Ella Voorhies followed with a 97. Keeley Cole and Ava Gibbs both shot a 123 to close out the Rockets' scoring.
"It was a great day to see and play the course which is hosting the Division 2 state finals," R-P coach Matt Pallett said. "One of our goals is to make it to the state finals as a team this year. The girls will work hard to achieve that goal.”
