Reeths-Puffer hosted the O-K Green midseason tournament Thursday
and placed fourth with a team score of 379, its best score of the
season.
Sophia McCollum, as she has been all year, was the
Rockets' top player, posting an 80 and medaling in the event. She scored
a pair of birdies. Olivia Ambler and Ella Voorhies performed well, each
shooting a 92. Ambler had seven pars in her round and Voorhies, for
whom the 92 was her career best score, made a birdie.
Jaylynn Acre posted a personal best score of 115 to round out the scoring.
”Ella and Jaylynn both shot personal bests today," R-P coach Matt Pallett said. "It is always fun to
see the girls work hard and then see that hard work come to fruition in
their rounds.”
