Montague earned its first West Michigan Conference Lakes win of the season Tuesday night against Orchard View 25-16, 25-14, 26-24.
Strong serving from Gentry Knop was instrumental to the win; Knop had eight aces. She also had a team high in digs, with 14.
On offense, Reagan Cederquist had 15 kills to lead the 'Cats (5-12-1, 1-1 WMC Lakes), and Emalee McGee passed out 16 assists. Annelyse Schneider had three blocks.
