Reeths-Puffer broke out of its recent goal-scoring slump in impressive fashion Thursday night, as Carson McCollum scored twice to help the Rockets defeat Jenison 2-1 in O-K Green Conference play.
Both goals were assisted by Owen Ritsema.
The scores were the first this month by the Rockets (8-3-3, 3-2-1 O-K Green) outside of one penalty-kick score in a 1-0 win over Mona Shores earlier in September.
Next for the Rockets is a Saturday contest with Northview before another week of conference games.
