Reeths-Puffer keeper Liam Copenhaver made program history Saturday, breaking the Rockets' school record for single-season shutouts as his team downed Grandville 6-0.
Copenhaver recorded his 11th shutout of the season with the victory, surpassing Jake Lofgren's mark of 10, set in 2017.
Not only did Copenhaver enjoy a milestone day, the Rocket offense continued its recent surge, getting five different players on the scoreboard. Owen Ritsema was the Rockets' lone multi-goal scorer, putting in two goals and assisting another.
Also for R-P (11-4-3), Cohen Beck had a goal and an assist, and Blake Kiel, Jesus Hidalgo and Carson McCollum scored once each. London Carpenter, back from an illness, made his presence felt with three assists.
