Jersi Bilek was again Reeths-Puffer's top runner Friday at the
Ottawa Hills Invitational, placing 22nd in the girls' race with a new
season best time of 19:41.8.
The Rocket boys placed 16th in the large-school division in the boys' race and 17th in the girls'.
Kaitlyn
Durow and Darcy Keefe paced one another during the race, and Durow
ultimately bested Keefe at the finish line by .08 of a second. Durow
finished 99th (22:19.2) and Keefe was 100th. Charli Belinger placed
131st (24:03.4) and Sidney Shackelford closed the scoring in 160th
(27:55.9).
Dylan Sturr paced the Rocket boys in 91st place
(18:23.9), followed by Landon Learn in 116th (19:26.3). Gabriel Luna
finished 133rd (20:00.3), Kyron Novak was 136th (20:09.3) and Jonathan
Visscher took 151st (22:42.1).
