Reeths-Puffer went 2-1 Wednesday in its home quad meet,
bouncing back from a close loss to Fruitport to defeat Ravenna and
Ludington.
The Trojans won 27-25, 25-13 to start things off, followed by a 25-14, 25-22 Rockets win over Ravenna and a hard-fought 25-23, 21-25, 25-18 win over the Orioles.
Kate Tindall passed out 55 assists for R-P's offense, setting up Mairyn Peterson and Annabelle Darke for 16 and 15 kills respectively. Carlee Bowen had 24 digs for R-P (5-4) defensively, and Darke added 23. Lexie Danz led in serving with five aces.

"I continue to be impressed with the growth of our defense," R-P coach Justin Birr said. "To see four
players on the stat line with 18+ digs in three matches shows how
scrappy we are as a defense. We still have some things to work on in our
blocking scheme, in becoming more consistent in serve-receive, and in
mixing up our shots offensively, but tonight showed that we are very
competitive against some pretty talented local teams."
