Reeths-Puffer finished 14th of 19 teams, with Whitehall in 17th, at Monday's Mona Shores Invitational in Muskegon.
R-P's team score was 361, with Whitehall just five shots behind at a 366.
Kristian Brown was the top local performer, leading the Rockets with an 83, which placed him 23rd individually. Brown shot four birdies during his round, including consecutive birdies on the second and third holes.
“It was good to see Kristian making birdies," R-P coach Matt Pallett said. "He was kind of up and down
today, but the fact that he was finally making some birdies shows that he
is close to putting a really great round together.”
Aiden Waggoner posted an 88 for the Rockets, followed by Kye Grant with a 94 and Ayden Hartzell with a 96. Hartzell made a birdie during his round.
Finn Novy led the way for Whitehall, shooting an 89, and he made a birdie in his round. Jones McDowell posted a 90, and Brady Tate shot a 93. Royce Freed's 94 rounded out the Vikings' team score.
