Reeths-Puffer crushed Muskegon Thursday, 18-0, as it closed in on the end of its O-K Green Conference schedule.
The first two games of the series, scheduled for May 20, were postponed by rain and will be made up Tuesday, May 27.
The
Rockets (19-10, 8-5 O-K Green) only needed two trips to the plate to
win by mercy rule, scoring 13 times in the first inning and five in the
second. They did so with only four hits, drawing 13 walks and taking
advantage of four Big Reds' errors.
Abbie Critchett tripled
twice for R-P. Brook Buchan and Aubrey Clark each scored three runs. In
the circle, Mady Snyder allowed one hit and struck out five in three
innings.
