Reeths-Puffer closed out O-K Green Conference jamboree play with an impressive second-place finish at the Jenison jamboree Monday.
The Rockets' score of 167 finished only three strokes behind Mona Shores for the top spot, their best performance in a jamboree all season.
“This makes back to back good outings for the team," R-P coach Matt Pallett said, referring to the Rockets' strong effort at Friday's home invitational. "We are starting to find our stride as we start to wrap up the season. I like how the team feels good about their performance but are still hungry for more.”
Kristian Brown again led the Rockets, firing a two-over par 38 to tie for medalist honors. He made par on seven of his nine holes. Aiden Waggoner shot a 42, good for seventh place overall, and Kye Grant finished with a 43, including a birdie. Ayden Hartzell earned the fourth scoring position with a 44.
