Reeths-Puffer finished fifth at Thursday's O-K Green Conference finals meet, hosted by Caledonia. The Rockets' team score was 333.
Kristian Brown led R-P with a 79, placing 11th on the individual leaderboard. Aiden Waggoner followed with an 81 and Ayden Hartzell had an 85; each round included a pair of birdies. Kye Grant made a birdie during his round too, and rounded out team scoring with an 88.
"(Brown) was personally not happy with his final score today, but overall he
played solid. He had one bad hole today," R-P coach Matt Pallett said, referring to a four-over par 8 that Brown recorded on the second hole. "He had a great conference
season and earned his All-Conference award for the third straight
season.”
R-P will next compete at the regionals at a course it's familiar with: Stonegate Golf Course in Twin Lake. Mona Shores, which took first place Thursday, will be the host school.
