Whitehall rolled to a 7-1 victory over Coastal Conference foe Manistee Monday, highlighted by four straight-set wins in the doubles flights.
The Vikings were exceptional in doubles play, only twice giving up more than three points in a given set.
Brianna Bentz/Avarie Bentz led the way at No. 1 doubles with a 6-2, 6-0 win, and at No. 3 doubles, Emily VanDam/Braelee Fogus secured a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Addie Broton/Beatrice Lewis chipped in a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles, and at No. 4 doubles, it was Ella Sumerix/Delaney Konecny with a 6-3, 6-1 win.
Whitehall played well at the singles flights as well. Riley Shafer won by a 6-1, 6-1 count at No. 4 singles, and Grace McDowell and Izzy Gould won close matches at No. 2 and No. 3 singles respectively, 7-5, 6-2 and 6-1, 5-7, 6-4.
