Whitehall narrowly outscored Montague Tuesday in the Montague
jamboree, 178-182. The Vikings finished in third place overall and
Montague tied for fourth with Manistee.
The Wildcats' Brayden
Bultema, though, was the top local scorer, shooting a 42 to finish in a
tie for seventh place. The Vikings' Brady Tate tied for ninth with a 43.
Bultema scored a birdie during his round, while Tate made bogey or better on all but one of his nine holes played.
Royce
Freed, Kellan Mikaelsen and Jones McDowell each shot a 45 to cap a
balanced scoring showing by the Vikings. For Montague, Tanner Devires
shot a 45, Bucky Aney had a 47 and Jonah Henderson posted a 48.
