Reeths-Puffer lost both ends of an O-K Green Conference dual against Caledonia Tuesday, with the Scots coming away with wins by scores of 90-47 in the boys' meet and 116-21 in the girls' competition.
Despite the team scores, there was a lot to be excited about. Mason Darke swept the two hurdles events, breaking his own school record in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 38.85 seconds and setting a new personal best in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.87 seconds.
Marvin Moore and London Rankin each earned personal bests while winning sprints. Moore won the 100 in a time of 11.68 seconds, and Rankin took the 200 in a time of 23.37 seconds.
The Rockets also won both sprint relays. Rankin, Moore and Darke ran along with Cody Piper to win the 400 in 43.45 seconds, and Rankin and Piper ran with London Carpenter and Emcee McLaurin in the 800 relay to win in 1:38.5.
R-P's only win in the girls' meet was in the 400 relay. Raquel Walker, Addison Mitchelson, Amani Starr and Melana Johnson came out on top with a time of 52.04 seconds.
