Reeths-Puffer kept up its sizzling start to O-K Green Conference play Tuesday with a doubleheader sweep of rival Mona Shores, 13-1 and 12-4.
Lainey McDaniel made her usual star turn in the circle in game one, allowing only two hits while striking out 13. She also had three hits and three RBI. Kyleigh Bilek had a three-run double to highlight a six-run outburst in the second inning. Tessa Ross went 4-for-4 and scored three times, and Brook Buchan had three hits. Abbie Critchett and Mady Snyder had two hits each.
R-P (10-1, 5-0 O-K Green) cruised to the win in game two behind a huge game from Snyder, who blasted two home runs among her three hits and drove in three runs. Snyder also got the win in the circle, allowing only one earned run on eight hits and striking out four.
Also for the Rockets in game two, Buchan got three hits and Critchett and McDaniel had two apiece.
