Whitehall fought off an impressive effort from West Michigan
Conference Lakes opponent Oakridge Friday night, earning a 71-66
victory.
The Eagles shot an impressive 55 percent from the
field, forcing Whitehall (15-3, 9-0 WMC Lakes) to fight to the end to
secure victory.
Oakridge's defense did well to force Camden
Thompson into a low shooting percentage, but the senior still rang up
big numbers, with 30 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Brock
Morningstar scored 13 points and had five steals, and Corde Anderson
added 12 points and seven rebounds. Finn Muller passed out seven
assists.
