Whitehall went 3-2 at Saturday's Martin Clipper Classic, which featured some very close matches.
The
Vikings defeated St. Joseph (38-32), Otsego (51-23) and Bronson (45-27)
in the meet, dropping a pair of tough matches to Stevensville Lakeshore
(36-35) and Division 4 No. 5-ranked Clinton (41-26).
Three
Whitehall wrestlers earned perfect 5-0 records. Gavin Craner and Wyatt
Jenkins each rolled past all comers, pinning all five of their
opponents. Blake English also went 5-0 and scored two victories by pin
as well as one technical fall to go with two decisions.
