Montague continued its West Michigan Conference Lakes surge Tuesday
night with a three-game sweep of Oakridge, 25-13, 25-16, 25-23.
The
Wildcats (21-8-4, 6-1 WMC Lakes) ended the regular season a game behind
Fremont for the top spot in the league and will have a chance to take
aim for the conference title in the tournament Oct. 26.
Jordan
Netcott led an impressive defensive showing by Montague with 36 digs,
with Maizie Collins adding 22. On offense, Ava Pumford had nine kills
with Reagan Cederquist chipping in eight. Jaelyn Sundberg had 26
assists, and Netcott had four aces.
