Montague cross-country ends regular season at Spring Lake Invitational

Montague closed its regular season at Saturday's Spring Lake Invitational, finishing fourth in the boys' race and eighth in the girls' race.
Freshman Nolan Kessler continued his late-season surge to lead the Wildcat boys, coming just five seconds short of his personal best and taking eighth overall with a time of 17:26.7.
Noah Raeth was close behind, coming in 12th place with a time of 17:34.8. Alix Draves (17:37.96) and Bucky Aney (18:06.3) also placed in the top 20, coming in 15th and 18th respectively. Closing out the scoring was Gibson Sholes, who placed 38th (19:30.9).
Grace Torsch paced Montague's girls, coming in 29th place (22:36.4). Also scoring were Grace Reavey (45th, 24:07.5), April Howard (55th, 25:12.4), Carmen Howard (70th, 26:51.8) and Candela Garcia (85th, 28:01.2).
